You’re invited to join us for a complimentary yoga class.
Before the craziness of the holidays descends upon us, let’s pause to stretch, breath, and show our gratitude.
Bring your yoga mat (and block, if you’ve got one) and let’s stretch and strengthen our tennis muscles. You don’t have to play tennis to join us, so feel free to bring a friend.
When: Wednesday, November 8th, 6:30pm (arrive at 6:15pm)
Where: Uptown Tennis Austin, 13359 N. Hwy 183, Suite 414
(183/Anderson Mill Rd., next to Kerbey Lane Cafe)
Please register below so we have a headcount. Thanks!
- Tennis is an asymmetrical sport. Tennis players use the same arm for forehand and backhand strokes, which creates imbalances on the left and right sides of your body. Yoga can help build balance and symmetry on both sides of the body making you stronger and less prone to injury.
- Tennis is also a game of strategy. Being calm, centered and focused are vital for success in a match. The focus on breathing and the mind-body connection in yoga helps athletes develop mental acuity and focus.
